Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO83Q (SIP) is designed to remove scratches, swirls, and oxidation on the scratch-resistant clear coats used by Mercedes Benz or other harder clear coats. Concentrated, specially milled abrasives remove 2000 and lighter grit sanding scratches to leave a brilliant shine with little or no hazing. This is a very powerful polish with a high concentration of small abrasives. These tiny abrasives blend away imperfections and repeatedly pass over the same area all the while working cleaner with little to no dusting.
On most lighter colored paints, you can go straight from Menzerna SIP to our finishing sealant or our carnauba wax.
Note: Use Meguiars M205 or Menzerna PO 106 FA "Super Finish" to remove any polishing haze or marring on darker colors. Finish protection treatment with the Acrylic Paint Sealant (APS) or the liquid carnauba creme wax.
Super Intensive Polish (SIP) is safe for all type of paints. It can be use on fresh paint (once fully cured) to eliminate any swirls or overspray. On older paint finishes, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO 83Q will remove moderate imperfections, blemishes and restore color back to the surface.
Menzerna SIP contains no silicone, waxes, fillers, or glaze. It is water based, which makes it great for the body or paint shop environment. Menzerna SIP is designed to be used with a rotary on speeds between 1000-1500 rpm, but it can be used with the Porter Cable 7424 XP or the Flex 3401.
In summary, Menzerna SIP is a step above the average polish/compound, and swirl-remover in terms of its cutting ability. Because of the quickness and correction abilities, SIP provides excellent results. It is a great choice for polishing and paint correction on todays hard, ceramic clear coats.
