ShowroomFX now offers an answer for stubborn scratch and blemish removal in the form of Meguiars M105 Ultra-Cut Compound. M105 is designed to remove 1200 grit and finer sanding scratches, assorted paint defects, acid rain spots, buffer holograms, severe swirl marks and mild overspray.
M105 is ideal for use on scratch resistant clear coats found on many of today's factory finishes, but it is safe for all types of paint surfaces. Excellent for use in hand compounding small areas.
M105 was designed to be used with a rotary style polisher, but can be used with random orbital buffing machines like the Porter Cable 7424 XP and Flex 3401. With any machine use, clean and check the surface for results. If more correction is needed, lightly mist the foam pad with water or detail spray and continue until the imperfection is removed.
For compound residue removal, use a damp microfiber towel to lightly wipe the surface with a 50/50 solution of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. Follow with Menzerna PO 106 FA "Super Finish" PO or Meguiars M205 to remove any compounding haze or marring. Finish up with our Acrylic Paint Sealant or one of the liquid carnauba creme waxes.
This product is paint and body shop safe. It contains no harmful silicones, is crystalline silica-free, VOC compliant and environmentally friendly.
